HVAC follow-up
HVAC Estimate Follow-Up Scripts and Cadence
HVAC estimates often involve timing pressure, comfort concerns, warranty questions, and price comparison. A good follow-up system helps you answer those questions before the customer drifts to another provider.
Best HVAC Follow-Up Cadence
- Same day or next morning: confirm the estimate was received.
- Day 3: ask whether the customer has questions about comfort, scope, financing, warranty, or scheduling.
- Day 7: offer a simpler option, staged scope, or maintenance-plan alternative if appropriate.
- Seasonal check-back: if the customer delays, add a reminder before the next heat wave or cold snap.
